Bitcoin continues to extend its recent recovery, gaining over 15% in the past 
two weeks to reach a market price of $97,559 at the time of writing. This 
renewed momentum brings the asset closer to the $100,000 psychological level, 
marking a potential turning point for investor sentiment in the broader crypto 
market. While short-term price action often generates mixed reactions, some 
market analysts believe that key long-term indicators may be aligning for a 
larger move ahead. One of those voices is Bitcoin maxi Robert Breedlove, who 
shared a series of observations on X about indicators that could point toward

Market Strength Citing analysis from Blockware, Breedlove pointed to the 
&#8220;industry average&#8221; miner cost of production — a model that aggregates various 
operational metrics such as electricity prices and hardware efficiency. 
According to this metric, Bitcoin has historically bottomed out when its 
market price approached or dipped below the average production cost. The model 
previously aligned with six significant market lows, and Breedlove notes it is 
flashing a bottom signal once again. In addition to mining economics, 
Breedlove referenced long-term holder supply data as another crucial input. 
This metric tracks the amount of Bitcoin that has remained unmoved on-chain 
for at least 155 days, a proxy for investor conviction and potential supply 
constraints. Over the past 30 days alone, long-term holders have added 
approximately 150,000 BTC to their balances. Historically, such accumulation 
during periods of price consolidation or retracement has preceded upward price 
movements due to the resulting decrease in sell-side pressure. With Bitcoin 
trading between $80,000 and $100,000, Breedlove suggests that fewer holders 
appear willing to exit their positions, potentially reducing available supply 
at these levels. Rising Liquidity and Macro Trends Add Fuel to Bullish Outlook 
on Bitcoin Another major factor is global fiat liquidity, which Breedlove 
highlights as a key demand-side component in Bitcoin’s price dynamics. The 
analyst points to the role of increasing dollar and international currency 
liquidity, driven by expanding access to Bitcoin through financial instruments 
like exchange-traded funds (ETFs), public company treasury holdings, and 
convertible bond offerings. He argues that greater access to capital and 
simplified exposure pathways have enhanced Bitcoin’s correlation with broader 
liquidity trends, increasing the likelihood of upward movement as fiat

Deribit, the world&#8217;s largest crypto options exchange, is weighing an entry 
into the US market, encouraged by what it sees as a friendlier regulatory 
climate under President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration, according to a recent 
Financial Times report.
The Dubai-based exchange, which processed $1.3 trillion in notional volume 
last year, is &#8220;actively reassessing potential opportunities&#8221; in the United 
States, CEO Luuk Strijers told the FT.
He cited the &#8220;recent shift toward a more favorable regulatory stance on crypto 
in the US&#8221; as a key motivator behind the decision.
Deribit&#8217;s potential plan to expand into the US comes amid reports that 
Coinbase is in advanced negotiations to acquire the platform.
In a March 21 report, Bloomberg said both companies have notified regulators 
in Dubai, where Deribit is licensed. If the deal is finalized, the license 
would need to be transferred to Coinbase.
The move comes as competitors like Kraken also pursue growth in the 
derivatives space, with its recent $1.5 billion acquisition of NinjaTrader.

## Crypto firms target US expansion
Deribit joins a growing list of European and Asian crypto firms exploring US 
expansion.
The shift comes after a period of regulatory hostility during the Biden 
administration, following the collapse of FTX in late 2022.
That era saw an aggressive crackdown from the SEC and DOJ, prompting many 
firms to withdraw from US operations. However, the narrative appears to be 
shifting under Trump, who has pledged to &#8220;make the US the crypto capital of 
the world.&#8221;
Since Trump&#8217;s election victory, the SEC has dropped or paused over a dozen 
enforcement cases against crypto companies.
Additionally, the Department of Justice recently announced the dissolution of 
its cryptocurrency enforcement unit, signaling a softer approach to the 
sector.

This hands-on approach appears to be boosting industry confidence.
OKX, for example, has announced plans to establish a US headquarters in San 
Jose, California, just months after settling a $504 million case with US

regulatory clarity, revealed that it is reentering the US market.
Switzerland&#8217;s Wintermute and Dubai&#8217;s DWF Labs are among other major crypto 
players that have shown interest in exploring US expansion.

On-chain data shows the Bitcoin spot price is currently sandwiched between two 
zones where a large number of investors last bought their coins. Bitcoin Is 
Trading Between Two Major On-Chain Demand Zones In a new post on X, analyst 
Ali Martinez has talked about where the key Bitcoin on-chain support and 
resistance levels currently lie. In on-chain analysis, support and resistance 
levels are defined based on investor cost basis. The reason behind this is 
naturally the fact that holders are particularly sensitive to retests of their 
break-even mark. How exactly an investor would react to a retest of their cost 
basis comes down to multiple factors, like the direction of the retest and the

Expected Around This Level, Report Says In general, holders might be inclined 
to accumulate more when a retest of their acquisition level happens from above 
(that is, they were in profit prior to the retest). They may do so believing 
that the same level would prove profitable again in the future. On the other 
hand, the addresses who were sitting underwater just prior to the retest might 
decide to exit, fearing that the cryptocurrency would decline once more. 
Obviously, when only a few investors are showing these buying/selling 
reactions, Bitcoin doesn&#8217;t feel any visible fluctuations. When the asset is 
retesting a narrow range with the cost basis of a large number of them, 
however, the story can be different. Now, here is the chart shared by the 
analyst that shows how the ranges around the current BTC spot price look in 
terms of holder cost basis distribution: As is visible in the above graph, 
Bitcoin has managed to break above a major supply wall with its recent 
recovery surge. This cost basis center, lying inside the $93,700 to $96,600 
range, contains the acquisition mark of 2.13 million addresses. These 
investors bought a total of 1.39 million BTC here. The asset is now looking to 
challenge the $96,900 to $98,700 range, which carries the cost basis of 
750,800 BTC. Since these investors are holding at a loss, it&#8217;s possible that 
the coin would have trouble breaking through this zone. The fact that the more 
massive $93,700 to $96,600 range has now turned green, however, could be an 
optimistic sign. This potential strong support could mean that even if Bitcoin 
finds it hard to find a break above, it would at least have a cushion to drop

though, the asset doesn&#8217;t have any other major zone until $82,000 to $85,000. 
It now remains to be seen whether demand would be strong enough to keep the
